No Touching! This dance activity does not require participants to hold hands, touch each other or anything yickie.
Participants will learn to move their hips (even the guys), loosen up and have a good time. The experienced instructor will teach cuban motion (hip movement for latin dance) so that everyone will get it. Using lively music, everyone will have fun, and laugh as their tension gets shaken off.
This is a perfect activity in the middle of any long conference, retreat or when participants are sitting for long periods learning information.
Participants will learn that physical movement (such as dance or walking) during the day can increase mental energy. Often teams solve problems faster by taking a walking break. It stimulates blood flow to the brain, and provides energy to ward off the mid-day sleepies.
We’ve also added team building activities and questions to let participants share their thoughts and feelings about the experience. All of which helps teams get to know each other better.
This activity teaches teams:
* Body awareness which fosters better non-verbal communication,
* That it’s safe to have fun with the rest of the group – even if a little embarrassing,
* A understanding of how to energize oneself with movement.
This two hour activity is best for teams of between 8 and 40.
