Donating money to your favorite charity can seem detached, and uninvolved. Now you can let your team help out while building useful collaborative skills.
Participants are broken into squads (3-4 people). Each squad is given some equipment but can barter, trade or compete in mini challenges to win more supplies. After some instruction, each squad starts printing shirts for the charity. While there can be only one winner, as each squad competes, the charity is the ultimate winner.
Most all charities use t-shirts as merchandise to sell to raise funds. But these shirts cost. Now your organization can provide them as a charity donation – printed by your team.
Participatory giving often feels more authentic, charitable and supportive of your chosen organization. The event is structured to teach while participants are giving.
This activity is an activity that teaches teams to:
* Coordinate or compete as needed – knowing when to use which approach to a problem,
* Think of what’s best for the team over individual glory,
* Focus on the ultimate goal of serving the charity.
This three hour activity is best for teams of between 8 and 24.

Investment averages between $6,000 – $3,000.
Assuming 8 participants
$6,000 outside the midwest, onsite or with an existing room.
$4,000 within the midwest, onsite or with an existing room.
$3,000 within the greater Ann Arbor, Michigan area (includes northern Ohio);
onsite or with an existing room.
Room rental fees are normally under $500, but can be this high depending on the venue.
For each participant past 8, add $250.
